Letter of Love

From heaven the Lord looks down and sees all mankind. Psalm 33:13

Give thanks to the God of heaven. His love endures forever. Psalm 136:26

Once again she eagerly opens his letter. She soaks in every word that was written. He tells her stories of where he has been, of the people he has spoken to, the mountaintops he has climbed and the waters that he has crossed. His words are mesmerizing as she leans in closer as if she is there with him beside the water. He describes interactions with people along his travels that cause her to reflect on her encounters with others she sees daily. He is so loving that she decides to follow him and his ways. She can not wait to see him one day, but until then she eagerly reads his words.

Most of us have this very letter sitting somewhere on a shelf or already opened on a table. His letter of love and encouragement was written just for you. He sees you from above and longs to touch your heart through His word. He waits patiently for you to lean into Him. When you climb steep mountains, walk beside rushing waterfalls, or sit beside the rolling sea, He is there waiting to hear your love for Him and His creation. Give thanks to Him.

Be encouraged!

Prayer: Dear Loving Father, thank You for providing the Bible, Your love letter to us all. May we be eager to read it everyday. May Your words strengthen us to follow You and Your ways. Thank You that Your love endures forever! Amen
